Leading Investment Bank is seeking a Hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst who has strong markets experience.

Key Accountabilities

The role is designed to provide change support for APAC strategic business and regulatory driven sponsored changed. Key project management responsibilities for this role include:

• Working with the accountable executive (AE). project sponsors or their delegates to identify cross functional/ infrastructure project members and setup appropriate project governance forums
• Collaborate with project members, AE/ project sponsors/ their delegates to baseline project/ product scope and execution plan (aka project plan/ task list)
• Responsible for end to end execution of the project including (but not limited to)
  • Running regular project governance forums and publishing status report to senior stakeholders for visibility
  • Taking ownership to manage CRAID through to a successful resolution and communicate and escalate effectively to APAC Portfolio Execution Team lead/ manager, Project sponsors/ Accountable Executives, appropriate programme governance forums and senior stakeholders
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring that all change activity is executed in line with the relevant policies and standards including performing periodic self-reviews vs the standards as required by the APAC IBSRC PMO

Key business analysis responsibilities for this role include:

• Solicit technology and non-technology requirements across all infrastructure areas and prepare a BRD
• Coordinate with Tech PM/ BA to assess impact and to track the implementation of all technology requirements
• Work with all infrastructure areas to implement non-technical project requirements
• Testing
  • Solicit UAT and PVT requirements
  • Based on testing requirements prepare test plan which should include the following
  • Details to test trades to be booked
  • List of and booking F2B systems involved in testing
  • Test cases and pass/ fail criteria
  • Testing execution, defect/ issue resolution and sign off

Person Specification

Experience:

• Extensive experience (5+ years) of medium to larger scale projects/programmes. Proven delivery of driving projects and programmes through their life cycle - i.e. scope, plan, execute, report, and govern
• Ability to provide an engaging and compelling strategic vision, set direction in a changing environment, and lead teams through complex and ambiguous phases of change.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical skills required for project planning, influencing, commercial negotiating and financial management - distil complex information, use different analysis techniques (interviews, workshops etc.) and complete detail
• Exposure to Financial institutions and their business
• Proven track record in working with direct and virtual project teams to drive execution and delivery
• Demonstrate F2B business knowledge - challenge assumptions, leverage past experience
• Demonstrate F2B organizational knowledge - EG Compliance, Finance, HR, and how these infrastructure areas support the business

Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills both across teams and upwards throughout organisations
• Ability to influence a network of colleagues mostly without direct line management control to deliver objectives and action plans as a senior individual contributor
• Financially and Organisationally literate; able to understand and contribute to the business discussions
• Experience in a core enabling SME function would be ideal ( eg Sourcing)
• Excellent written communications skills are needed to supplement reporting commentary and a wide range of deck production
