Role: Senior Pricing Analyst - Savings & Retirement
Location: London, Hybrid Working
Salary: Competitive Salary Package & Benefits

A unique opportunity has arisen for an actuarial professional to join a high-impact Pricing team within a global insurance and reinsurance business. This role will focus on evaluating complex retirement and savings transactions across global markets, including Europe and North America, with a key focus on capital-efficient solutions and deal structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce pricing metrics for a wide range of deals including individual annuities, bulk annuities, and longevity swaps.
  • Run and enhance pricing models (Tyche and Excel-based) to support bespoke reinsurance and investment-led transactions.
  • Collaborate closely with investment, ALM, and underwriting teams to shape efficient, client-aligned deal structures.
  • Analyse capital implications across Solvency II, Bermuda, and US frameworks, ensuring optimal structuring and governance compliance.
  • Translate macroeconomic indicators (e.g. rates, spreads, FX) into pricing assumptions using tools like Bloomberg.
  • Develop propositions in partnership with client teams, incorporating strategies to manage market and demographic risks.

Experience Required:

  • A degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field.
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified actuary (IFoA/SOA).
  • Strong technical modelling experience using Excel and actuarial software (e.g. Tyche or similar).
  • Knowledge of mortality and/or market risk modelling; prior pricing experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to independently review and sense-check model outputs.
  • Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with economic capital, Solvency II, or other global capital regimes is advantageous.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an actuarial professional seeking to deepen their technical and commercial skills within a fast-paced, forward-thinking pricing environment. The role offers direct exposure to strategic transactions, cross-functional projects, and ongoing product innovation.
