Role: Manager, Insurance Pricing - Savings & Retirement

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global reinsurance group as a Manager in their Insurance Pricing team, focusing on the Savings & Retirement (S&R) space. This role will support pricing and assumption-setting activity across multiple markets and product types, including Pension Risk Transfer, Individual Annuities, and broader retirement solutions.
You will play a pivotal role in leading the technical pricing delivery and experience analysis for new business tenders, while also supporting strategic initiatives and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pricing support for new business tenders across multiple international S&R markets.
Lead assumption-setting and experience analysis, including mortality, lapse, and dependent trends.
Collaborate with the client solutions and deal pricing teams to present competitive, well-structured pricing proposals.
Provide technical pricing expertise to stakeholders and contribute to internal governance and executive sign-off processes.
Manage and mentor a team of pricing actuaries and analysts, supporting their technical development.
Stay abreast of emerging pricing techniques and market trends, introducing enhancements to internal methodologies.
Support the delivery of strategic projects such as new rating factor analysis and pricing process improvements.
Experience Required:
Qualified actuary (IFoA or SOA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or actuarial consulting with a strong technical foundation.
Prior pricing experience is highly desirable but not essential.
Demonstrated capability in experience analysis and basis setting.
Familiarity with GLMs and advanced statistical techniques is beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex actuarial ideas for non-technical audiences.
Proven experience in people management or team leadership within an actuarial function.
