Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory reporting requirements, and insurance industry regulations
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and operational initiatives
• Mentor and develop accounting and finance team members
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and tax advisors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience
• Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance
• Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience with ERP systems and financial process improvement initiatives
