Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a large global technology organisation based in Dublin. This role will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex technology initiatives across cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will bring strong project governance expertise, deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, and excellent stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects and programmes within an Agile environment.
- Drive project governance activities including roadmap planning, RAID management, reporting, financial tracking, and risk management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support teams using frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Monitor project performance through metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of documentation, transparency, and quality assurance across all project activities.
- Identify and remove blockers while proactively managing dependencies and risks.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear communication and regular status updates.
- Manage and utilise project management tools such as Jira or equivalent platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in IT Project Management within large-scale or enterprise technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Relevant project management and/or Agile certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe).
- Demonstrated experience in project governance, delivery management, and financial oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Experience producing project metrics, reporting, and documentation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team facilitation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within financial services or regulated environments would be highly advantageous, though not essential.
