We are currently working with an insurance company seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This individual will play a key role in driving projects from planning through execution while partnering closely with leadership, business stakeholders, operations, vendors, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and resource coordination across cross-functional teams.
  • Partner closely with leadership, business units, operations, and external vendors to define project scope, requirements, deliverables, and execution strategies.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities; proactively drive issue resolution and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and track project progress, ensuring accountability and timely delivery across all workstreams.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication by providing regular project updates, status reporting, and executive-level visibility into milestones and risks.
  • Support business analysis and documentation efforts, including requirements gathering and process documentation when needed.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple projects while maintaining organization, communication, and execution quality.
  • Support vendor management activities and collaborate across teams to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping optimize processes, workflows, and project delivery practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying priorities and timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving business needs and strategic priorities.
  • Preferred experience within insurance, annuities, retirement services, or Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) environments.
