The Opportunity
We’re seeking Associate / Senior Associate professionals to join a growing Accounting Services and Financial Reporting function supporting fiduciary accounting operations, premium and commission flows, reconciliations, and month-end reporting activities.
This team is actively growing, with multiple hires being made across associate, senior associate, and management levels. The role offers significant exposure to accounting operations, audit support, financial reporting, and cross-functional finance initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming from public accounting or an operational accounting background who is looking to broaden their exposure and grow within a highly visible finance organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support premium and commission accounting activities including reconciliations, reporting, and cash flow tracking
- Prepare and maintain complex Excel-based reconciliations and large-volume financial data analysis
- Assist with month-end close processes including journal entries, reporting packages, and account analysis
- Support both internal and external audit activities and assist with financial reporting initiatives
- Partner closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams to improve processes and controls
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial information across fiduciary accounting operations
- Assist with operational accounting activities tied to broker and carrier relationships
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within a rapidly growing accounting function
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 0-3 years of accounting experience preferred; open to candidates up to 5 years depending on background
- CPA or active pursuit of CPA strongly preferred
- Strong academic background preferred (3.5+ GPA highly valued)
- Big 4 or public accounting audit experience highly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets and reconciliations
- Experience with accounting operations, reporting, or audit support preferred
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to understand complex inflow/outflow accounting processes and “connect the dots” operationally
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
