Syndicate Accountant | 12-Month FTC (Strong view to extend/permanency) | Hybrid – Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare quarterly financial statements.
– Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations.
– Support regulatory returns, management reporting, and UK GAAP statutory accounts (FRS 102/103)
– Conduct financial analysis and contribute to reporting disclosures.
– Improve reporting processes and calculations.
– Build relationships with stakeholders.
– Deliver ad hoc reporting, support projects, and review junior team output.
Key Requirements:
– Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
– Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge (FRS 102/103).
– Advanced Excel skills.
– Insurance or syndicate accounting experience (desirable).
EU/ Irish citizenship/ Spousal 1G/ Stamp 4 can be considered.
