Test Analyst (Medior/Senior) – Trilingual

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Test Analyst to join our team, supporting a leading Belgian company. In this role, you will focus on manual testing, with a strong emphasis on non-regression testing, while also contributing to analysis.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of critical systems, working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Design, execute, and maintain manual non-regression test cases based on functional specifications
• Perform test execution across multiple environments and clearly report and track defects
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases
• Apply test design techniques (functional, exploratory, risk-based testing)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes
• Support test coordination and facilitate testing activities within the team
• Work with tools such as STBox, TimApp, or IStQP

Business & Functional Analysis

• Provide support to end-users on production systems
• Understand and challenge customer needs to define requirements and propose appropriate solutions
• Analyze functional and business problems and determine the most suitable solutions in collaboration with development teams
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories
• Create functional documentation, including:
  • UML diagrams (use case diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.)
  • BPMN models
  • Information and domain models
• Define domain interface specifications using domain-driven design (DDD) principles
• Follow up on implementation to ensure alignment with requirements
• Facilitate estimation and planning sessions

Documentation, Training & User Support

• Assist in the creation of:
  • User manuals
  • Release notes
  • Training materials
• Support or deliver end-user training sessions when required
• Act as a point of contact for user support and functional questions

Required Skills & Experience

Testing Expertise

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst (Medior or Senior level)
• Strong experience in manual testing, especially non-regression testing and functional validation
• Hands-on experience with STBox, TimApp, and IStQP (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of test design techniques and defect management

Business Analysis Skills

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and refine requirements
• Experience translating business needs into user stories and functional specifications
• Hands-on experience with UML and BPMN modeling
• Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proactive, structured, and quality-oriented mindset
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Languages

• Trilingual proficiency required (e.g., English, French, and Dutch)
