Test Analyst – Trilingual
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Test Analyst to support a leading Belgian organization. In this role, you will focus on manual testing, with a strong emphasis on non-regression testing, while also contributing to functional and business analysis.
You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of critical systems, working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and end-users.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design, execute, and maintain manual non-regression test cases based on functional specifications
- Perform test execution across multiple environments; report, track, and follow up on defects
- Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases
- Apply test design techniques (functional, exploratory, risk-based testing)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
- Support test coordination and facilitate testing activities within the team
- Apply best practices and frameworks such as TMap, STBoX or ISTQB
Business & Functional Analysis
- Provide support to end-users on production systems
- Understand, challenge, and refine business requirements
- Analyze functional and business needs and collaborate with development teams to define solutions
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories and functional specifications
- Produce functional documentation, including:
- UML diagrams (use case, activity diagrams, etc.)
- BPMN models
- Information and domain models
- Define domain interfaces using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
- Follow up on implementation to ensure alignment with requirements
- Facilitate estimation and planning sessions
Documentation, Training & User Support
- Contribute to the creation of:
- User manuals
- Release notes
- Training materials
- Deliver or support end-user training sessions when required
- Act as a point of contact for functional questions and user support
Required Skills & Experience
Testing Expertise
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst (Medior or Senior level)
- Strong experience in manual testing, especially non-regression and functional testing
- Practical knowledge of TMap, STBoX or ISTQB
- Solid understanding of test design techniques and defect management
Business Analysis Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and refine requirements
- Experience translating business needs into user stories and specifications
- Hands-on experience with UML and BPMN
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Ability to collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Languages
- Trilingual proficiency required (English, French, and Dutch)
