Description:
My client in collaboration with it's partners & internal customers, is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a project redesigning the Acceptance Testing part of the development and release process. The aim is to assure that the development as put forward by the software engineers, can be released into production, after acceptance testing by the end users / business and a formal go/no go process.
Due to lack of a uniform Acceptance Testing process and as a result of internal workshops and internal audit the end customer started a project and appointed a project team to optimise it's uniform acceptance testing process in it's approach, documentation, lessons learned, commitment, awareness & training, with primarily focus on :
o Lack of uniform process ACC (ACCeptatie testing)
o Improve quality mindset during ACC
o Lack of transparency of ACC
o Making sure that the business needs have been addressed through thorough business analysis and stakeholder management
o Making sure that the user needs have been properly understood through preliminary business & functional analysis from the business side
o Assuring that development integrates well with existing software by applying own Java Software development knowledge and understanding of software architecture and it's applications
Tasks and responsibilities:
o Ensuring that the projects delivery is made according to the schedule, budget, scope and quality.
o Define timeline and mile stones of the project.
o Managing the risks and issues related to the delivery.
o Clarifying high-level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects.
o Ensuring the compliance to standards and best practices across all projects.
o Managing a team of internal staff and/or external contractors.
o Be proactive in proposing technical solutions and innovations.
o Reporting progress, issues, risks etc. to the customer and to the program manager.
Methodology/Certification requirements
* +5 years experience in Project Management in the IT Sector (in application development, JAVA environments)
* Expert knowledge of complex Systems Integration.
* Very good knowledge of one or more of the following concepts or technologies (SOA, API Management, Microservices, Enterprise Integration Patterns, REST, UI frameworks)
* Agile minded.
* Certified PRINCE2, PMI, or equal by experience
* Expert knowledge of JAVA architecture.
* Very good coaching & training skills
