Our client, a prominent leader in the Insurance industry, is seeking a seasoned Underwriting Manager to join their dedicated Finance department. Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the underwriting operations inclusive of Broking and Underwriting Programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards pertaining to underwriting processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance underwriting performance and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of underwriting professionals.
• Collaborate with management to align underwriting strategies with business goals.
• Engage in continuous risk assessment and mitigation activities.

Key Skills

• Extensive experience in Underwriting and Broking Operations.
• Proven track record as an Underwriting Program Manager for Managing General Agents.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to strategize, analyze, and solve complex problems.
• Knowledgeable in current industry regulations and standards.

Benefits:

• Salary: €90,000 - 100,000 (subject to negotiation)
• Wellbeing allowance €6,000
• Up to 12% annual bonus
• 25 days of holiday
• 2.5 company days for Good Friday, day after Stephen's day and ½ day Christmas Eve in addition to the AL above
• Up to 2 wellness days per annum additional to AL
• 14% pension - 4% employee contribution and 10% employer

• Income Protection (6 months deferral, 2/3 of base salary)
