My client, a top Private Equity firm in the downtown Chicago area is looking for a Fund Operations Manager to join and lead their expanding team due to high growth. Our client works on a hybrid basis in the loop, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefit.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage fund operations across the investment lifecycle
• Coordinate deal closings with internal teams and external advisors
• Oversee cash management, treasury activities, and credit facility draws
• Calculate capital calls, distributions, and fund waterfalls
• Support liquidity planning and fund-level reporting
• Partner with Accounting, Investor Relations, and deal teams
• Improve workflows, systems, and operational processes
• Maintain fund entity administration and data integrity

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Strong understanding of fund structures, capital flows, and transaction processes
• Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with an ownership mindset and process improvement focus
