A well-regarded, long-established Chicago-based PE firm with $30B+ AUM is looking for an experienced professional to step into leadership within its Finance team. This is a high-visibility position with a competitive compensation package of $150k-$200k base plus a significant bonus, and a flexible 4-day hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Review quarterly financial statements and NAV closes across a portfolio of private funds
- Serve as the key liaison to external auditors on complex transactions and technical matters
- Oversee capital call, distribution, and treasury processes
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff
- Drive process improvement and support cross-functional finance initiatives
Qualifications
- 6-9 years in Big 4, private equity, or fund administration
- Strong U.S. GAAP and investment company accounting knowledge
- CPA preferred; degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Comfortable with complex fund structures, LP vehicles, and partnership agreements
