Business Controller | International High-Tech Manufacturing
We are looking for a Business Controller to join an internationally operating company within the high-tech manufacturing industry. This is much more than a traditional controlling role-you will act as a true business partner to Operations, Project Management and Finance, playing a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.
You will be part of an international and innovative environment where collaboration, technology and continuous improvement are at the core of the business. In this position, you will work closely with colleagues across Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly closing process and financial reporting.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Perform financial analyses and translate data into actionable business insights.
- Monitor project performance, margins and costs.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Partner with project managers and key stakeholders to support financial performance.
- Develop and optimize dashboards in collaboration with Business Intelligence specialists.
- Drive process improvements within the Finance function.
- Support management in both strategic and operational decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a Business Controller, Controller or in a similar finance role.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English.
