About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you play a key role in turning data into actionable insights and intelligent solutions. This is a broad role that goes beyond modeling-you will be involved across the full data lifecycle, from data exploration and engineering to deploying scalable solutions in production.
You will work with modern data platforms and large-scale datasets, leveraging tools like Databricks, Python, and PySpark to build robust data solutions. In addition to technical expertise, you are expected to think critically about business problems and translate them into data-driven approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore, analyze, and interpret large and complex datasets
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and analytical solutions
- Work with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., PySpark) on platforms like Databricks
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines
- Translate business questions into data science use cases and solutions
- Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of scalable and production-ready data products
- Continuously improve models, processes, and data workflows
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PySpark
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms
- Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data analysis techniques
- Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and working with large-scale data
- Ability to work end-to-end on data science projects
- Strong communication skills and a business-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices
