Senior Life & Health Reinsurance Actuary
Location: Paris – relocation to Switzerland also available
Salary: €80,000-€120,000
A leading international reinsurer is looking for their new gem- a Senior Life & Health Reinsurance Actuary to join its growing business.
This is a highly commercial and technical role, suited to an experienced Life Actuary who combines strong pricing and modelling expertise with an interest in structured reinsurance, transaction execution and client-facing work.
You will work across a diverse range of Life & Health reinsurance opportunities, helping clients develop solutions that address their commercial, capital, accounting and regulatory objectives.
The successful candidate will:
✔️Provide actuarial input into the assessment and evaluation of Life & Health reinsurance opportunities.
✔️Analyse portfolio performance, claims and experience data to support commercial and technical decision-making.
✔️Undertake actuarial modelling and financial analysis across a range of Life & Health products and markets.
✔️Support the assessment of risk, profitability and capital implications associated with reinsurance opportunities.
✔️Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, finance and other specialist teams to develop solutions aligned with client requirements.
✔️Participate in client and broker discussions, providing technical actuarial insight where required.
About You
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Life Actuary with a minimum of 6 years of experience, ideally with extensive expertise in reinsurance and a strong track record of working in client-facing environments.
You will be comfortable combining technical actuarial expertise with commercial understanding, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and communicating complex actuarial concepts clearly.
