Technical Product Owner / Project Lead (AI) – Contract

A leading Swiss healthcare technology organisation is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner / Project Lead (AI) to support the delivery of AI-driven capabilities within a core clinical information system used across Swiss healthcare providers.
This is a hands-on delivery contract role, focused on taking AI use cases from concept through to production in a highly regulated clinical environment.
You will act as the key interface between product, engineering, clinical stakeholders and hospital users, ensuring AI features are translated into clear requirements and delivered into live environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of AI-based product initiatives from discovery through to rollout
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and refine AI use cases in clinical workflows
- Translate business / clinical needs into technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog across multiple AI workstreams
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery between engineering, product, data and customer teams
- Support implementation of LLM-based tools, automation features, and AI-assisted workflows
- Ensure structured delivery in a regulated healthcare / enterprise software environment

Ideal Contractor Profile
- Proven experience as Technical Product Owner / Delivery Lead / Requirements Engineer / Technical PM
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (especially LLMs, automation, data-driven features)
- Experience working in complex enterprise or regulated environments
- Ability to operate at the intersection of business, clinical and technical teams
- Strong backlog ownership and delivery mindset (Agile environment)
- German language required
