About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to strengthen a small but highly impactful development team within a large public-sector digital environment based in Brussels.

You will contribute to the development and evolution of business-critical applications used daily by frontline administrative staff. The team is currently managing a significant backlog of user stories and is seeking a motivated developer who can quickly become autonomous and actively contribute to ongoing projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with some professional experience who wants to grow within a complex technical environment while working on solutions that directly support thousands of end users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java and Angular
  • Implement new features based on existing user stories and functional requirements
  • Participate in the design and evolution of applications within a modern software architecture
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to code quality, testing, and technical documentation
  • Support the transition toward a microservices-based architecture

Practical Information

  • Location: Brussels city centre
  • Hybrid working model: minimum 2 days on-site per week
    • 1 fixed on-site day (Monday)
    • 1 additional flexible on-site day
  • Full-time assignment
