Oliver James is partnering with a leading insurance organization undergoing a major transformation across its Infrastructure & Operations landscape.
We are seeking a Senior Digital Product Manager to drive product strategy, execution, and delivery across engineering-focused platforms, helping shape the future of cloud, infrastructure, and developer enablement capabilities within a large-scale enterprise environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Product, this newly created position sits within the Infrastructure & Operations Product organization and will play a key role in establishing a product-led operating model across critical engineering platforms.
This role is highly visible and offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering leaders, architects, and senior stakeholders to define strategy, prioritize investment, and drive measurable outcomes across complex technology environments.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmaps for engineering and infrastructure platforms.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-aligned platform capabilities.
- Drive prioritization, execution, and product delivery across multiple technology domains.
- Translate engineering and developer needs into clear product direction and outcomes.
- Establish product management best practices, operating models, and delivery frameworks.
- Hold internal and external delivery teams accountable to agreed objectives and timelines.
- Act as the bridge between product strategy and engineering execution.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager within highly technical environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS and cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Experience working closely with engineering, platform, or infrastructure teams.
- Exposure to networking, data centres, mainframe technologies, or developer tooling.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable influencing senior technical and business stakeholders.
