Associate General Counsel, MGA & Corporate Compliance [NYC – Hybrid]

Serve as the primary legal advisor supporting Amynta’s MGA platform and corporate governance function.
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, technology, producer, and other operational contracts.
Advise on MGA operations, insurance regulatory matters, and fronting/reinsurance arrangements.
Support strategic M&A transactions, including due diligence, transaction documents, and integrations.
Manage corporate governance for 120+ domestic and international legal entities.
Oversee entity management, board materials, and corporate records.
Manage the company’s trademark portfolio and coordinate with outside counsel.
Partner with executive leadership on legal risk, governance, and strategic initiatives.
Supervise paralegals supporting licensing, entity management, and legal operations.

8+ years of insurance legal experience.
Experience with MGAs, carriers, or reinsurance platforms.
Strong commercial contracting and corporate governance experience.
Exposure to reinsurance/fronting programs and insurance regulatory matters.
M&A transaction support experience.
Comfortable operating as a senior, business-facing attorney in a lean legal department.
