Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)
Salary: €65,000 – €85,000 base salary + performance bonus of up to 20%

About the Role

We are currently partnering with an international financial institution to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of regulatory and statistical reporting obligations to relevant supervisory authorities.

Working at the intersection of Finance, Risk, Data, and Regulatory Affairs, you will play a key role in interpreting regulatory requirements, improving reporting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyse regulatory and statistical reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on reporting requirements.
Translate new reporting obligations into business and IT requirements.
Support testing and validation activities related to regulatory reporting changes and system enhancements.
Respond to queries from internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
Investigate and resolve reporting and data quality issues.
Contribute to process optimisation, automation, and data governance initiatives.
Participate in change projects aimed at improving efficiency, controls, and reporting quality.
Support the continuous enhancement of reporting frameworks and governance processes.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Previous experience within Regulatory Reporting, Financial Reporting, Prudential Reporting, or a similar function within the financial services sector.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex financial data.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting financial insights.
Understanding of regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry.
Experience within banking or other regulated financial institutions is advantageous.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality management is considered a plus.
Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
