IT Administrator/IT Support Engineer

We’re partnering with a fast-growing financial services client to hire an IT Administrator/IT Support Engineer who will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations across the business. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied support role in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the IT helpdesk and ticket queue, ensuring issues are resolved within SLA.
- Provide 1st/2nd line support for hardware, software and user issues.
- Deliver end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and user access.
- Administer and support SaaS platforms including Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, Slack and Salesforce.
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
- Support Wi-Fi, VPN and general network connectivity issues.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation and operational procedures.
- Assist with IT security, user access management and compliance initiatives (SOC 2).
Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in IT Support, Helpdesk or Systems Administration.
- Experience managing IT tickets and providing excellent end-user support.
- Experience within financial services, fintech or another regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS environments.
- Familiarity with Slack, Salesforce or other SaaS platforms.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi) and IT security best practices.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Exposure to ITSM/ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of SOC 2 or other compliance frameworks.
