Head of Programs | US Property & Casualty Programs

As Head of Programs, you’ll take ownership of a growing US Property & Casualty Programs portfolio, leading the strategy, profitability, and development of MGA partnerships while managing a talented team. You’ll play a key role in driving profitable growth, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with colleagues across Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to deliver market-leading Program solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the long-term US Programs strategy.
- Managing the performance and profitability of the MGA portfolio.
- Building and strengthening relationships with MGA partners and brokers.
- Leading the launch and oversight of new delegated authority programs.
- Driving underwriting excellence, governance, and compliance.
- Coaching and developing a high-performing Programs team.
- Representing the business within the market and identifying new growth opportunities.
About you:
- 10+ years’ experience underwriting US Property & Casualty Programs/Delegated Authority business.
- A proven leader with experience managing teams and profitable portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen and business development skills.
- Deep understanding of the US insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
