Accounting Manager

Atlanta, GA | Hybrid | 2 days per week in office | Total Compensation up to $175K

I’m working with a global, publicly listed organization that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to its International Accounting & Consolidations team.

This is a newly created, highly visible role that would suit a CPA coming from Big 4 / Top 10 public accounting, or someone who has made the move into industry and is now ready for broader ownership across international accounting, reporting and consolidations.

You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership and teams across multiple countries, with genuine scope to improve processes, systems and controls rather than simply manage the monthly close.

Who are they looking for?

This role is particularly well suited to:

Big 4 / Top 10 candidates who are currently at Manager level, have an active CPA and are looking to make the move into a broader industry role.

Industry candidates who started their career in public accounting, qualified as a CPA and have since built experience across corporate accounting, financial reporting or consolidations.

Ideally, you will have:

• Active CPA

• Big 4 / Top 10 public accounting experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong US GAAP knowledge

• Experience across financial reporting, consolidations or corporate accounting

• Public company and/or multinational experience

• Previous management or supervisory experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• The confidence to work with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies

• A genuine interest in process improvement, automation and technology

You do not need to be a pure consolidations specialist. The client is open to strong technical accounting, financial reporting and corporate accounting profiles, particularly those coming from Big 4 / Top 10 backgrounds.
