AI Adoption & Enablement Consultant

Location: Eatontown, NJ
Working Pattern: 3 days onsite per week
Contract: 3-month initial contract, with potential for extension based on demonstrated value
Rate: Starting at $70/hour

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Adoption & Enablement Consultant to help accelerate the practical adoption of Generative AI across a large insurance organization.

This is a highly hands-on role focused on helping business users understand, adopt and effectively use emerging AI technologies to improve productivity and business outcomes.

You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and emerging AI capabilities – identifying valuable use cases, coaching users, developing practical AI solutions and demonstrating measurable improvements in efficiency and quality.

This is not a software development position. The ideal candidate is someone who actively uses Generative AI in their own work, understands prompt engineering and can confidently demonstrate practical applications of AI to business users.

What You’ll Do

AI Training & Enablement

• Conduct 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions with business users.
• Demonstrate practical business use cases for Generative AI.
• Provide hands-on guidance across tools including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude Desktop, internal AI platforms and emerging AI productivity tools.
• Develop role-based AI training materials and learning paths.
• Facilitate workshops, office hours and AI adoption sessions.

Business Process Discovery

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges and productivity bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities where AI can reduce effort, improve quality or accelerate outcomes.
• Translate business needs into actionable AI use cases.
• Identify repeatable requirements that may justify the use of agentic AI and partner with technology teams to evaluate potential opportunities.

Value Measurement & ROI

• Establish baseline metrics for targeted business processes.
• Quantify time savings and efficiency improvements.
• Track user adoption and productivity metrics.
• Demonstrate and report measurable business impact.

Prompt Engineering & Knowledge Management

• Build and maintain a centralized prompt library.
• Develop reusable prompts for common business scenarios.
• Establish standards around prompt structure and quality.
• Coach users on effective prompting and AI best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor for AI adoption initiatives.
• Gather feedback and continuously improve enablement materials and approaches.

What We’re Looking For

The critical requirement is hands-on Generative AI experience.

You should be someone who is actively using GenAI tools to solve real business problems, create practical prompts and demonstrate AI capabilities through live examples.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Technology Consulting, Training, Digital Transformation or a related field.
• Hands-on experience applying Generative AI to real-world business challenges.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering concepts and best practices.
• Experience evaluating business processes and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Experience delivering training, workshops or user enablement programs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quantify value and ROI.
• Ability to understand technology concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate new AI technologies quickly.
