Are you an experienced AI Engineer who wants to work on technology that has a direct impact on critical infrastructure and the future of the energy sector?
We are looking for an experienced AI professional who can turn complex business and operational challenges into reliable, scalable AI solutions. This is not a junior position. We are looking for someone who already has solid professional experience in AI/ML engineering and knows how to take models and AI solutions beyond experimentation and into production.
The Role
As an AI Engineer, you will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, software engineering, data and cloud technology.
You will help design, develop and implement AI solutions that support smarter decision-making, improve operational processes and enable the organisation to work more efficiently with its data.
You will be involved throughout the AI lifecycle: from understanding the business problem and preparing data, through model development and experimentation, to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
Your work will have a strong focus on creating AI solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure and production-ready.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop and implement AI and Machine Learning solutions for real-world business and operational challenges.
- Develop and maintain production-ready AI/ML models and applications.
- Work with large and complex datasets and transform them into actionable insights.
- Develop solutions using Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
- Work with technologies such as LLMs, Generative AI, Machine Learning and predictive analytics where relevant.
- Integrate AI models into existing applications, data platforms and business processes.
- Build APIs and services that make AI capabilities accessible to other applications and teams.
- Work with cloud-based AI and data platforms.
- Contribute to CI/CD, testing, monitoring and MLOps practices.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects and business stakeholders.
- Translate complex technical possibilities into practical solutions with measurable business value.
- Continuously investigate new AI developments and determine where emerging technologies can add real value.
What We Are Looking For
This is an experienced AI Engineering position. You should already have several years of professional experience building and implementing AI or Machine Learning solutions.
We are looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of professional experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science with a strong engineering focus, or a comparable role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Proven experience developing and implementing Machine Learning or AI solutions.
- Experience taking AI/ML solutions from PoC to production.
- Experience with APIs, software development practices and version control.
- Experience working with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD, model deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with modern AI technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, NLP or Computer Vision is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and writing maintainable, testable code.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams.
