Title: AV Engineer
Location: Greater Indianapolis, IN – fully onsite, 5 days per week
Type: Contract to hire (conversion to FTE at around the 6 month mark, based on performance)
Pay Range W2: $55-75/hr

A leading enterprise organization is seeking an experienced AV & Conference Systems Engineer to support conference room technology and meeting experiences across a modern corporate campus. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical AV expertise with exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.

You will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise collaboration environments including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, conference technologies, and executive meeting spaces. This is a highly visible role supporting business-critical meetings, executive presentations, and large-scale events while partnering closely with infrastructure, security, workplace technology, and facilities teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support enterprise AV and conferencing environments, including Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain collaboration technologies including cameras, microphones, displays, room schedulers, and control systems.
  • Provide white-glove support for executive meetings, leadership events, and business-critical presentations.
  • Partner with networking, security, and workplace technology teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and technology refresh initiatives.

Skilled Needed:

  • 5+ years supporting enterprise AV, conferencing, or collaboration technologies.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and/or Zoom Rooms.
  • Hands-on experience with AV hardware such as Poly, Logitech, Yealink, Crestron, Extron, Shure, Biamp, or similar.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, Microsoft 365, room accounts, and collaboration platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and executive support experience.

Preferred:

  • Event production, webinar, or live-streaming experience.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • CTS, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom certifications.
