Job Opportunity: Axway Integration Engineer

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Axway Integration Engineer to join a small but critical integration team responsible for supporting and modernizing enterprise file transfer capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on maintaining secure, business-critical integrations while helping transition trading partners from on-premises environments to the cloud.
Role Purpose:
The Senior Axway Integration Engineer will play a key role in managing and supporting a large ecosystem of external trading partners within the Axway platform. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, this individual will contribute to cloud migration initiatives, troubleshoot complex file transfer issues, and ensure secure and reliable connectivity across enterprise environments.
This role combines operational support, partner onboarding, cloud migration activities, and security-focused integration work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day administration of a mission-critical platform.
Experience Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Axway integration platforms
- Experience configuring and managing trading partner relationships
- Proven experience troubleshooting file transfer failures and resolving integration issues
- Knowledge of secure file transfer protocols and B2B connectivity standards
- Experience supporting cloud-hosted environments
- Familiarity with AWS and hybrid cloud architectures is highly desirable
- Understanding of security protocols and best practices for partner integrations
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment
- Previous experience in financial services or insurance environments is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and update trading partner connections within the Axway platform
- Support approximately 450 existing trading partner integrations and onboard new partners as needed
- Monitor file transfer activity and investigate failed transmissions
- Troubleshoot and remediate connectivity, configuration, and transmission issues
- Assist with the migration of trading partners from on-premises environments to the Axway Cloud platform
- Maintain secure connectivity between internal systems and external partner environments
- Understand and support security protocols used by both internal teams and external trading partners
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement changes and enhancements
- Contribute to ongoing platform improvements and cloud adoption initiatives
