Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Our client is a well-established, PE-backed insurance carrier that is looking to grow their business and take their Life & Annuity business to the next level. They’re seeking an executive leader to join them and oversee their Finance department and partner with the CEO and the board. This is a true C-level position where you’ll be making strategic decisions that might greatly impact the company. The ideal candidate can come from either a Finance or Actuary background, and should bring:

Insurance Experience
- Life and annuity experience required.
- P&C experience is a big plus
AM Best
- Having experience with AM Best is crucial to the position
- Ideally want someone who:
- Has credibility with AM Best.
- Can present effectively to rating agencies.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and governance.
- Can help elevate organizational structure and controls.
Reporting & Systems
- Strong statutory reporting background.
- Experience with GAIN accounting statement software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.
- Interest in candidates who understand:
- AI applications within NetSuite.
- Process automation opportunities within accounting and finance functions.
Leadership
- Seeking someone who can:
- Lead an organization.
- Build confidence with regulators and rating agencies.
- Establish structure and accountability.
- Elevate the finance function.
