Cloud Engineer

Build the Cloud Platform Powering the Energy Transition

Technology is becoming the backbone of the modern energy grid. As renewable energy sources continue to grow and electricity demand increases, reliable, secure, and scalable cloud platforms are more important than ever.

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who is passionate about designing, automating, and managing cloud infrastructure that supports business-critical applications. You’ll work on a modern Azure cloud platform that enables development teams to build secure, resilient, and scalable solutions for one of the Netherlands’ largest energy infrastructure organizations.

If you enjoy Infrastructure as Code, automation, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future of the energy sector.

Your Role

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Azure cloud platform that supports hundreds of developers and critical business applications. You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps Engineers, Software Developers, Security Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Solution Architects to create a secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environment.

You’ll focus on automation, platform reliability, governance, and continuous improvement while helping development teams deploy applications faster and more securely.

  • Monitor cloud environments and improve platform reliability and performance.
  • Optimize cloud costs through effective resource management and governance.
  • Support application teams with cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
  • Improve observability using centralized monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with Security, Networking, and Development teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions.
