Financial Advisor

Financial Advisor – Miami Beach, FL

Location: Miami Beach, FL
Schedule: Primarily client-facing, with travel throughout the local market

We’re working with a leading national financial institution that is expanding its Wealth Management team in the Miami Beach market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Advisor to join an established organization with a strong client base, significant resources, and a robust platform of investment and wealth management solutions.

The Opportunity

The Financial Advisor will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals, provide comprehensive financial planning guidance, and recommend investment and wealth management solutions. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for your clients while partnering closely with banking and wealth management teams to deepen relationships and identify additional opportunities.

Importantly, this is not a traditional cold-start advisor role. Advisors have access to an established banking network and referral opportunities, allowing them to build and grow relationships without being solely dependent on independently sourcing a book of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with high-value clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive client discovery and financial needs analyses.
  • Provide goals-based financial planning and investment recommendations.
  • Recommend appropriate investment and wealth management solutions based on client needs.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and proactively identify evolving financial needs.
  • Grow relationships by increasing share of wallet and identifying additional opportunities.
  • Partner with retail banking and small business/commercial teams to generate referrals.
  • Refer more complex/high-net-worth clients to specialized Wealth Management partners when appropriate.
  • Maintain strong compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Help educate and coach banking partners on wealth referrals and opportunities.
  • Participate in community and networking activities to strengthen the firm’s presence in the local market.

What They’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience providing financial advice, financial planning, and/or investment solutions.
  • Proven consultative sales and relationship-management experience.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products and investment solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal banking partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 required.
  • Series 66 and Life & Health licenses preferred, or willingness/ability to obtain them.
  • Comfortable meeting clients and prospects throughout the assigned Miami market.

Why Consider the Opportunity?

  • Established platform with significant resources and a strong banking/wealth ecosystem.
  • Referral-driven environment with opportunities to partner with banking teams for new business.
  • Three-year advisor development program designed to support growth and production.
  • Forgivable draw compensation structure during the initial program period.
  • Access to a broad range of investment, financial planning, and wealth management solutions.
  • Strong long-term career opportunities within a large financial institution.
  • Comprehensive benefits, retirement programs, paid time off, professional development, and incentive opportunities.

Ideal Background

This could be a strong fit for an advisor coming from a bank, wirehouse, brokerage, RIA, or other wealth management environment who enjoys the relationship-management and consultative side of advising and wants access to a larger platform and established referral network.

The ideal candidate is client-focused, entrepreneurial, comfortable with sales goals, and capable of building deep relationships while partnering effectively with other areas of the organization
