We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire a Middle Office Transformation Delivery Manager within its Investment Management function.
This is a senior delivery role responsible for driving a portfolio of Middle Office technology transformation initiatives, covering investment platform modernization, legacy system migration, system integration, data interfaces and ongoing BAU change.
The successful candidate will work closely with Investment/Middle Office stakeholders, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers and technology teams across the region. The role requires a strong combination of Investment Management domain knowledge and hands-on technology delivery experience.
Preferred Technology Exposure
Experience with one or more of the following platforms/systems would be highly advantageous:
- BlackRock Aladdin
- Bloomberg AIM
- Eagle IBOR
- Eagle EDM
- eFront
- Other investment management, portfolio management or Middle Office platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Middle Office technology transformation projects across the Investment Management environment.
- Drive the migration and decommissioning of legacy investment systems and support implementation of new/in-house platforms.
- Manage system integration, data migration and interface development across multiple investment platforms and downstream systems.
- Oversee complex investment data flows and dependencies across Middle Office, risk, compliance and related systems.
- Manage multiple concurrent transformation initiatives alongside BAU change requests, ensuring appropriate impact assessment, testing and controlled production releases.
- Coordinate delivery across Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, vendors and business stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, delivery timelines and cross-system impacts.
- Ensure system changes are implemented with minimal disruption to critical investment operations.
- Support the ongoing modernization of the Middle Office technology landscape.
Key Requirements
- Approximately 9-15 years of experience in technology delivery, project/programme management or transformation.
- Proven experience within Investment Management / Asset Management / Investment Middle Office technology.
- Strong track record delivering investment platform transformation, system integration and/or system migration projects.
- Good understanding of IBOR (Investment Book of Record) and investment data flows, including positions, transactions, holdings, cash and related investment records.
- Experience working with complex integrations and interfaces across investment systems.
- Strong understanding of Middle Office processes and the technology supporting investment operations.
- Ability to manage both large-scale transformation programmes and high-volume BAU change requests in a complex technology environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and end-to-end delivery ownership.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and English is mandatory.
- Cantonese is advantageous but not required.
