My client is a technology-led fund administration platform seeking a Private Equity Director. This is not a stereotypical fund administration role. You will combine technical fund accounting with client leadership, team development and process improvement, while helping clients leverage modern technology across complex closed-end fund structures.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the day-to-day operations of a private equity fund accounting team
- Overseeing NAV calculations, financial statements, capital calls and distributions
- Reviewing fee calculations, profit and loss allocations and performance reporting
- Managing the creation and maintenance of complex waterfall models
- Acting as a senior point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Managing and developing client teams of up to 10 employees
- Resolving complex accounting enquiries escalated by junior team members
- Leading fund audits and ensuring their timely completion
- Managing new client onboarding and fund transitions
- Improving workflows, procedures and operational controls
- Supporting recruitment, training and performance evaluations
Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of private equity or alternative fund accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of NAVs, allocations, waterfalls and financial reporting
- Experience managing clients and developing accounting teams
- Strong systems, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Investran experience is advantageous
