Product Owner – AI Platform | Fully Remote | Long-Term Contract
I’m currently partnering with a leading life insurance organization on their search for a Product Owner to support a major transformation within their Benefits division.
The team is embarking on a significant initiative to build a new AI-enabled platform from the ground up, designed to support core business processes across the division.
This is not simply about embedding AI into existing workflows. The ambition is to build an AI-first operating platform that can transform how key processes are delivered across the business.
The platform will support key functional areas including:

Underwriting

Intake and onboarding

Claims processing
-
Policy Administration (PAS)

Broker portal capabilities
The organization is strategically bringing ownership of capabilities currently managed by an external vendor in-house, creating new internal product and delivery capabilities as part of the transformation.
About you:
We’re looking for a Product Owner or Product Manager with strong experience working within complex platform environments and a proven track record of hands-on product delivery.
Experience working on AI-enabled products or platforms is highly desirable. Insurance experience is beneficial but not essential, with the focus being on candidates who have successfully implemented AI within products, workflows or operational processes.
You’ll need to be comfortable operating autonomously, managing competing priorities and navigating the relationship between business and engineering teams throughout a complex platform build.
