Business Project Manager – LMS Implementation (12 month Remote Contract)
We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization that’s undertaking a major Learning Management System (LMS) implementation and is looking for a Business Project Manager to drive the business-side delivery of the program.
LMS implementation experience is REQUIRED for this role. Candidates without hands-on experience managing or supporting an LMS implementation will not be considered. Experience with Docebo is highly preferred.
You’ll work alongside a dedicated IT Project Manager and LMS vendor to bring the business, technical, and vendor plans together into one coordinated program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and managing comprehensive project plans using MS Project or similar planning tools.
- Integrating business, technical, and vendor plans into an overall program plan.
- Coordinating business stakeholders, IT teams, and the LMS vendor across milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identifying risks, issues, and dependencies and proactively driving resolution.
- Tracking actions and holding stakeholders accountable for commitments.
- Translating complex project or technical information into clear updates for business audiences and leadership.
- Managing the project proactively, thinking ahead, and maintaining focus on the broader implementation roadmap.
We’re looking for a Business Project Manager with proven LMS implementation experience who can operate independently and confidently manage stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable challenging stakeholders when necessary while maintaining strong relationships. Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Required:
- Proven LMS implementation/project management experience (Docebo ideally)
- Strong business-side project management experience
- Experience building and managing detailed project plans
- Proficiency with MS Project or similar planning tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Preferred:
- Docebo experience
- PMP certification
- Experience delivering large-scale business transformation initiatives
