We are seeking an experienced QA Tester to join a global payments organisation based in Dublin City Centre on an initial 6-month contract.
You will play a key role within the QA function, working closely with software developers, business analysts, product owners and other stakeholders to ensure that high-quality, reliable solutions are delivered to customers.

The role operates on a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week required in our Dublin City Centre office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system and regression testing across applications and services.
- Identify, document and track software defects through to resolution.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve defects.
- Review requirements and user stories to identify potential quality risks and gaps in test coverage.
- Support the creation and maintenance of test plans, test scenarios and test documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement and retrospectives.
- Execute end-to-end testing across complex systems and integrations.
- Validate data and system behaviour across different environments.
- Support release and deployment activities, ensuring appropriate testing has been completed before production releases.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, issues and results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards and practices.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven commercial experience working as a QA Tester / Software Tester within a software development environment.
- Strong experience in manual testing, including functional, integration and regression testing.
- Experience creating detailed test cases and test scenarios from requirements or user stories.
- Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, business analysts, product owners and other stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
