Risk Governance Manager – 12 Month FTC

Risk Governance & Enterprise Risk Manager | Life Insurance

The insurance market is evolving, and businesses going through significant change need people who can help ensure their approach to risk keeps pace.

I’m working on an opportunity with a life insurance business looking to strengthen its risk management capabilities following a period of corporate change. They’re keen to speak with people who have helped organisations navigate transformation, improve risk frameworks and manage evolving regulatory expectations.

The role offers a broad remit across enterprise risk management, governance and regulatory oversight, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and influence how risk is managed across the business.

The focus will include:

  • Improving risk management frameworks and governance processes across the Group.

  • Supporting senior-level risk discussions and ensuring reporting provides meaningful insight to decision-makers.

  • Contributing to regulatory requirements, including PRA expectations and ORSA.

  • Reviewing and enhancing risk policies, controls and governance arrangements.

  • Helping deliver change initiatives and ensuring risk frameworks remain effective as the business develops.

I’m particularly interested in speaking with people who have a background in Group Risk, Enterprise Risk Management or Risk Governance within life insurance.

Experience of transformation programmes, acquisitions or post-acquisition integration would be especially relevant. A good understanding of Solvency II, PRA requirements and ORSA is also important.

This would suit someone who enjoys more than just maintaining existing processes and wants to play an active role in improving how risk is managed during a period of change.

If you have the relevant experience and would be open to hearing more, feel free to drop me a message for a confidential conversation.
