SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – FINANCE TRANSFORMATION

We’re working with a growing financial services business looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team and help improve how Finance operates, reports and uses technology.
This is a slightly different Senior Accountant opportunity – alongside core accounting and reporting, you’ll get exposure to finance systems, automation, data, process improvement and cross-functional projects.
KEY SPECIFICATION
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close & reporting
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Help identify and eliminate manual / inefficient Finance processes
- Support finance systems and ERP enhancements
- Improve reporting, data quality and financial processes
- Assist with automation and technology initiatives
- Support testing, reconciliation and implementation of new systems
- Help strengthen Finance controls and documentation
- Work with Accounting, FP&A, Technology, Treasury and Operations
- Support senior Finance leadership on strategic projects
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-7 years of accounting / finance experience
- Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting experience
- Experience with ERP / finance systems
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
- Genuine interest in technology, automation, data or process improvement
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Financial services / insurance experience preferred
- CPA or accounting qualification a plus
