Oliver James is working a global insurance carrier that is looking to hire a Senior Claims Examiner – Workers Compensation (CA State). You will be responsible for handling a caseload of mid to complex workers compensation claims in the state of CA. You will also manage client relationships and provide technical guidance to more junior adjusters.
Skills/ Qualifications Required;
- Extensive experience within workers compensation claims in the state of CA
- Highly experienced with coverage analysis within workers compensation
- Exposure to complex losses and litigation within workers compensation
- Experience working at an insurance carrier handling WC claims (TPAs also considered)
- Excellent knowledge of all related policy wording and regulations within workers compensation

- Adjuster License in California – essential
This role requires 2-3 days in office per week from various CA based office locations. CA Adjuster Licence essential (or other licensing enabling you to handle claims in CA). Salary up to $164,000 plus annual bonus and a clear path to leadership or other senior technical roles.
