For my client in the financial Industry, I am looking for a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer ASAP.

This is more than a hands-on development role. You’ll play a key part in coaching an international development team, improving code quality, and helping deliver modern cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and OpenShift.

What do they offer?

• 50 percent on site attendance, Monday is the fixed onsite team day
• Freelance until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop responsive Angular front-end applications.

• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Deploy cloud-native applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes.

• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases.

• Review code quality and promote secure coding best practices.

• Coach and mentor junior offshore developers remotely via Microsoft Teams.

• Support architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.

Your Profile

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Excellent knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience building REST APIs and Microservices.

• Extensive experience with OpenShift and containerized environments.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Previous experience within Financial Services or Banking is a strong plus.

• A natural coach who enjoys mentoring developers and improving development quality.

• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
