Senior Test Automation Engineer

We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance client to hire a Senior Test Automation Engineer. This is a hands-on automation role for an experienced engineer with a background in Life Insurance or Property & Casualty (P&C)/General Insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute automated tests across API, UI, functional, regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing.
- Own and enhance automation frameworks and CI/CD testing pipelines.
- Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts in an Agile environment.
- Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and improve QA processes.
- Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and partner with development teams to resolve issues.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation.
- Experience within Life Insurance or Property & Casualty (P&C)/General Insurance.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with tools such as Pytest, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- API testing experience using Postman.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Python and Pytest experience.
- SQL/database testing experience.
- Experience designing scalable automation solutions and test architecture.
