Vice President, FIG Insurance Investment Banking | New York
A bulge bracket investment bank is hiring a Vice President to join its FIG Insurance coverage team in New York. This is a growth hire into a team that is actively expanding its insurance franchise, with real scope to take ownership of live mandates and client relationships.
The role
Execute M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates across life, annuity, P&C and reinsurance clients
Own day to day deal execution and lead junior bankers on modelling, materials and diligence
Support senior bankers on coverage, pitching and origination with insurers, PE sponsors and alternative asset managers active in insurance
Work closely with capital markets, ratings advisory and sponsor coverage teams
What they’re looking for
Current VP1 or VP2 in insurance or FIG investment banking at a bulge bracket or elite boutique
Strong insurance M&A and/or capital markets execution experience
Solid understanding of insurance financials, statutory accounting and capital considerations
Comfortable managing teams and client facing on live deals
