Oliver James are currently partnered with an established US Health Insurer seeking experienced experienced Health Actuaries and Actuarial Managers to support the continued development of its actuarial function.
These opportunities will suit commercially minded health actuaries looking to take on greater strategic responsibility, influence business decisions and play a key role in shaping the future direction of an established actuarial team. The business is particularly interested in individuals who combine strong technical actuarial expertise with broad commercial awareness and leadership capabilities.
Role requirements:
- ASA or FSA designation preferred
- Extensive healthcare actuarial experience across Medicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial insurance
- Experience in pricing, reserving, forecasting, risk adjustment or medical economics
- Previous actuarial consulting experience highly desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
- People management and mentoring experience advantageous for leadership opportunities
