Salary: $75,000-$120,000 base + discretionary bonus

An established national CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join its growing Financial Services practice in California.

This position offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated private equity funds, hedge funds and alternative investment managers while developing greater engagement ownership, technical expertise and leadership experience.

The opportunity

• Lead financial statement audit workstreams for investment management and financial services clients.

• Take responsibility for audit planning, execution and final deliverables.

• Review investment fund financial statements and related disclosures.

• Develop engagement budgets, timelines and audit work plans.

• Supervise and mentor junior associates and interns.

• Work directly with client stakeholders and engagement leadership.

• Participate in client proposals and engagement development activities.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.

• Financial services, private equity, hedge fund or investment management audit experience preferred.

• Strong US GAAP and financial statement auditing knowledge.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• CPA qualified or eligible to sit the examinations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage audit deliverables and mentor junior professionals.
