Credit Control Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead and enhance accounts receivable, cash management, and credit control activities within a fast-paced, growing organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient cash collection, maintaining accurate financial records, reducing outstanding debt, and driving continuous process improvements.
Working closely with finance, operations, and external service providers, you will help optimize financial operations while supporting strong governance and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day credit control and cash collection activities, providing guidance and support to the wider team.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, prioritize collections, and resolve complex or high-risk accounts.
- Track aged debt performance and implement strategies to reduce overdue balances.
- Prepare regular reports on aged receivables, bad debt provisions, and write-offs for management.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding account queries with both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Help ensure compliance with internal policies and financial governance standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-changing business environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years’ experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
- Strong background in account reconciliations and cash application.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
