Lead Data Analyst – Life Insurance Transformation
Contract | Remote/Hybrid (Virginia Preferred) | $60-70/hr W2 | 12-18+ Months
We’re partnering with a leading U.S. life insurer undergoing a large-scale policy administration transformation, consolidating multiple legacy platforms into a single modern administration system.
As part of this high-profile programme, we’re looking for two experienced Data Analysts to support the migration and validation of Life Insurance and Annuity policy data, ensuring data integrity throughout the conversion process.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyse and validate policy data as it transitions between legacy and target administration systems.
- Investigate balancing reports, identify data discrepancies, and document findings to support successful system migrations.
- Work closely with Product, Technology, Actuarial, and Business teams to resolve data issues and improve conversion accuracy.
- Manipulate and analyse large datasets using Excel and other analytical tools while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Support multiple release cycles within a multi-year enterprise transformation programme.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong data analysis and data manipulation experience with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working within Life Insurance or Annuity products is highly desirable.
- Previous involvement in policy administration system conversions or transformation programmes.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Experience with Alteryx, LifeComm, Life/70, Ingenium, AdminServer, actuarial processes, or insurance product development is a significant advantage.
