We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization that is making significant investments in its Digital, Data, and Product capabilities.
The Director of Product Management – Data Platforms & Engineering will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a portfolio of enterprise data platforms that support critical business operations, customer experiences, and digital transformation initiatives.
This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity (typically 4-6 months) with a clear path to a permanent leadership position.
The Opportunity
Data is a critical component of the organization’s digital strategy. This role will lead a portfolio of enterprise data products and platforms that enable customer, operational, and business capabilities across the organization.
You will oversee platforms including Customer Master Data, Enterprise Data Integrations, Enterprise Content Management (FileNet P8), and other core data capabilities that support key applications, processes, and business functions.
This is not a traditional maintenance-focused Product role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to modernize enterprise data capabilities, improve scalability and governance, and help shape the future direction of the organization’s digital and data ecosystem.
Leading a team, you will provide strategic leadership while partnering closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-impact initiatives.
Non-Negotiable Experience:

Proven Product leadership experience within Data Platforms / Data Engineering – candidates must have led Product teams responsible for complex enterprise data platforms and capabilities.

Strong technical platform experience – candidates must have experience across enterprise data, integrations, APIs, data ecosystems and/or platform engineering, with the ability to operate effectively with Engineering and Architecture teams.

Demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale transformation – candidates must be able to clearly articulate specific examples of modernizing data platforms, technology, products, or operating models, including the measurable business or technical outcomes achieved.
Candidates who cannot demonstrate clear Product leadership experience within Data Platforms / Data Engineering, strong technical platform expertise, and tangible, measurable outcomes from enterprise-scale transformation initiatives will not be considered.

Requirements

Proven experience leading Product Management teams within large-scale enterprise technology and digital environments

Demonstrated success delivering product, platform, or operating model transformation at enterprise scale

Experience partnering with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business leaders to deliver strategic technology initiatives

Strong product governance, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience, with the ability to influence senior leadership
