We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization that is making significant investments in its Digital, Data, and Product capabilities.
The Director of Product Management – Digital Data Platforms will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a portfolio of enterprise data platforms that support critical business operations, customer experiences, and digital transformation initiatives.
This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity (typically 4-6 months) with a clear path to a permanent leadership position.
The Opportunity
Data is a critical component of the organization’s digital strategy. This role will lead a portfolio of enterprise data products and platforms that enable customer, operational, and business capabilities across the organization.
You will oversee platforms including Customer Master Data, Enterprise Data Integrations, Enterprise Content Management (FileNet P8), and other core data capabilities that support key applications, processes, and business functions.
This is not a traditional maintenance-focused Product role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to modernize enterprise data capabilities, improve scalability and governance, and help shape the future direction of the organization’s digital and data ecosystem.
Leading a team, you will provide strategic leadership while partnering closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-impact initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven Product leader with experience building and developing high-performing Product Management teams in complex enterprise environments
- Strong enterprise platform experience, with expertise across data, integrations, APIs, and modern digital capabilities
- A strategic thinker who can balance long-term product vision with hands-on execution and delivery
- Experience leading large-scale modernization and digital transformation initiatives, ideally within regulated industries
- An influential leader who builds trusted relationships across Technology, Business, and Executive stakeholders, with Insurance experience strongly preferred
Requirements
- Proven experience leading Product Management teams within large-scale enterprise technology and digital environments
- Strong background owning complex enterprise platforms, data ecosystems, and integration capabilities
- Demonstrated success delivering product, platform, or operating model transformation at enterprise scale
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Business leaders to deliver strategic technology initiatives
- Strong product governance, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience, with the ability to influence senior leadership
