Title: End User Computing Engineer
Location: Greater Indianapolis, IN
Type: Contract to Hire (conversion to FTE at around the 6 month mark, based on performance)
Pay Range: $60-75/hr

A leading financial services organization is seeking a Digital Workplace Operations Engineer to support and enhance its Microsoft 365 environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining core workplace technologies, troubleshooting complex technical issues, supporting infrastructure initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across collaboration, endpoint management, identity, and productivity platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender
* Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues across collaboration, identity, and endpoint platforms
* Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring problems
* Assist with the deployment, testing, and support of new technologies and enhancements
* Partner with Service Desk and Desktop Support teams to improve support processes and knowledge sharing
* Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
* Utilize PowerShell and automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
* Engage with users and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and a positive support experience
* Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices across the environment
Skilled Needed:
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Operations Engineering, or Microsoft infrastructure support
* Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra ID and Intune
* Hands-on PowerShell scripting and automation experience
* Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API and identity management concepts
* Experience with endpoint management, device compliance, and access controls
* Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
* Exposure to Git, CI/CD processes, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools is preferred
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Experience within financial services, insurance, or other regulated environments is a plus
